Ask a question about the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair

Since its launch in 2006 the Bloom Fresco Classic raised the bar with the designers within the nursery sector. This is one of the iconic highchairs of this generation.

The Bloom Fresco Classic contemporary baby chair is simply the most stylish and practical highchair on the market today.

The Fresco Classic Bloom is one of our favourites as it will last from birth until school age, with 3 different positions for resting, feeding and playtime.

Already owned by many of the world's A-listers the Bloom design team have won numerous International awards for their interpretation of the baby highchair.

Suitable from newborn until 36kg or 79Ibs the Fresco Bloom has 3 different positions to provide real value for money.

Newborn to 6 months you can recline the seat into a cradle position for resting or sleeping during the day.

6 months up to feeding you have the option to sit your child right up to the table like a normal chair or attach the traditional feeding tray for an easy clean surface.

2 years to 36kg/79Lbs use the Fresco Bloom as a childs play seat to watch the telly, read books and simply interact with the family.

Key Features

  • A super sized adjustable feeding tray with 3 positions to move away or towards the child for comfort.
  • The feeding tray has a deep lip to prevent spills and made of FDA compliant food contact grade plastic and stainless steel. It is easily removable and dishwasher-safe.
  • The Fresco Bloom has a 360-degree swivel seat for easy access
  • The pneumatic-assist provides easy-lift height adjustment allowing infinite positions
  • Multiple position reclining seat
  • 5-point padded safety harness, adjustable for your growing baby
  • wipe-clean seat pads in vibrant and elegant colours
  • enclosed wheels in base for easy movement
  • fresco™ classic – maximum tray height: 76 cm/30”

Please note the only difference between the Fresco and the Loft is that the Bloom Loft will go to a higher height so would be a better choice if you have a breakfast bar.

This is an outstanding highchair with state-of-the-art features. It incorporates all the top-end functionality you would ever wish for from a highchair and enables your child to sit in at the table similar to the Stokke Tripp Trapp.

Features:-

  • 360 degree swivel with resister
  • Pneumatic-assist, easy-lift height adjustment allowing infinite positions
  • Multiple position reclining seat
  • 5 point harness with height adjustable shoulder straps
  • Micro-suede seat upholstery available in a range of vibrant colours
  • Multiple position feeding and dual removable play trays (dishwasher-safe)
  • Multiple position footrest
  • Enclosed castor wheels in base for easy 'lift and glide'

Customer Review's

10/08/2007  Danny Scudamore rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
Would've given it 5 stars, but even though it says that it designed for newborn for the sleeping pod, the straps should be able to be tightened enough for that 3 month old. Unfortunately even at their tightest they are lose on my 5 month old and would seem to be the same for 6 months and even up to 8 months. Other than that.... brilliant!
24/11/2007  Mr M Morganti rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
I love this product! I love the look and the bright pink seat cover, It's great that our baby has been able to enjoy her chair from 3 1/2 months old and even earlier if we had known about it then. Without the trays it fits perfectly up to our table and it's a real perk being able to enjoy a meal at the table with the rest of the family even when she was tiny. I can sit at the table and eat my dinner with the rest fo the family and swing her from side to side like I would in her pushchair if she needs comforting. The straps are comfy and it's great how the velcro padding covers up the buckle so she can't pinch her fingers or undo her strap. She looks comfortable too. I love being able to lie her in her chair whilst I do the cooking and washing. Mums with toddlers will love that too as their tiny baby is higher off the ground and safe from little pinching fingers! The flat base is safer than a bulky one and prevents tripping over it. It's heavy flat base also stops her pushing herself away from the table. The seat cover stops her sliding out and is never cold like plastic seat covers. Older kids love it and all ask to sit in it. It looks fantastic in our kitchen too! It is expensive but it is well worth the money, I don't see it as just a highchair but my baby's special chair that she will use for many years. It does have a few teething problems though, Its a little confusing to put together but fine once we got the hang of it. It can also be a little tricky to tilt it backwards and forwards as I have small hands and find it hard to grip the squeezy handle. Also being quite short I find it tricky to clench the side buttons to lower and higher the chair although my husband has no problem with either. Even though it is more of a permanent chair we have no problem putting it in the back of our car as it comes apart into three main pieces but It wouldn't be good for people who need to move it often. To alter the height of the straps can be difficult and fiddley when trying to slide in the brackets and you have to push hard when clipping on the tray. Ideally I would like it to be a few inches higher too. That aside, the teething problems I don't notice much as the chair is always at the same hieght in our house and we don't really use the trays as it's always up to the table, I only really tilt it. I will be getting another one for our next baby so both children can sit up to the table.

Excellent product, used it from birth to get my son into our eating routine from the start. Would definitely recommend.
25/01/2008  james joyce rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
Very pleased. Well designed, modern looking product.
25/01/2008  joanne nixon rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
Very easy to clean and very comfortable for baby. I love the fact that it swivels and the height is adjustable. The storage compartment in the back is fantastic. The only down side to this chair is the weight.
29/01/2008  Rebecca Stewart rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
I purchased the baby bloom high chair from boohoobaby, as I found that it was the most competatively priced, compared to other suppliers.

Once the order was placed, I received the product in a short time. The highchair, and received e-mail correspondence to check that I was happy with my purchase. The highchair can be used from birth and would highly recommend it for both practical purposes and its modern design.

03/05/2008  MISS C E DALYTSE rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
This highchair is fantastic, when I firtst seen it, I fell in love with it. suitable from birth, right up unitl about 5 years of age. A range of colours and fabrics are available. My little boy (6months) loves this highchair. A little pricey but worth every penny! Height adjustable, footrest, play tray, removable food tray. Very easy to assemble but not by going from the booklet included, go from searching on youtube. Overall very satisfied with this product and website. Very fast and efficient delivery
24/05/2008  Maya Collins rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
A fantastic product, we bought this for our baby when she was just a few months old as she likes to be involved at meal times and she loves it!
17/09/2008  Nicola Holroyd rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
A good product, but I was expecting it to be a little sturdier. It is not easy to move and the seat is not well padded
17/09/2008  Daniel Endersby rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair

22/11/2008  Rebecca Jones rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
Without doubt the most fantastic looking highchair on the market, I love how the chair looks in my kitchen. However, for the money it costs I do think that some of the features would have been better. I particularly dislike the way the tray clips onto the frame and would be terrified to do this while my daughter was actually in the chair for fear of injury! It really is a bit of a wrestling match to get it in place and off again - something which the instruction manual breezes past with little reference. However, I can forgive it this fault as my little girls looks ultra cute sat in her 'space ship egg' (how my friends describe it) and I have the joy off looking at a functional and beautiful piece of furniture. So if you like the way the Fresco Bloom looks - buy it you wont be disappointed, if you want a high chair that is easy to use, space saving and functional - buy a £50 one and spend the £200 on something lovely for your little one.
22/11/2008  Rita Gilmore rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
I am very pleased with the high chair, I bought it for its value for money and it will last a good many years

Best highchair ever! Practical, stylish and really comfortable!
15/01/2009  Mrs Diane Dourley rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
Excellent in every way - only thing I've found is that I had to change the type of bib I used as the padded shoulder straps pushed the thicker bibs into my daughter. Other than that, great.
26/01/2009  Marie Gale rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
The high chair is very reliable, very easy to fix together.
27/04/2009  Bart Hovens rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
Absolute fantastic made up with it
15/09/2009  rosalyn plum rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
3rd baby 3rd high chair by far the best just wish i had ordered the loft as it doesn't go high enough.
28/09/2009  Ms Amanda Freeth rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
I would give this more than five stars if I could. This is a must have for all new born babies and will grow with them for quite a few years. My friends little boy is five and he loves sitting in the chair also. My little boy Connor loves his seat (only been using the cradle as he is only new born but he watches the television, watches me doing housework or watches us talking when we have company (he talks to us on occasions too). I think it is because he is roughly on the same level as us that he can be quite content in his chair and fall asleep comfortably. I feel this is an investment as is quite expensive but for what it can do and how long it lasts it is so worth the money.
23/10/2009  Rasa Sirvinskaite rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
wow! Im happy :)
12/03/2010  Mrs Caroline Dougherty rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
Bought for a gift and it looks amazing !!!
09/09/2010  Amy Tingle rated the Fresco Bloom Classic Baby High Chair
Our decision over what highchair was an agonising one as I wanted one that was stylish but was versatile to keep our very active 7 month old from screaming all the way through his meal times. It has definitely accomplished the first half of our requirements I love the look of it and is a talking point but unfortunately not quite achieved the second part as he doesn't quite fit comfortably in it as he is not yet sitting up unaided. What has been handy is that it reclines so when he is being a fidget I can recline him back to feed him. However I know when Alfie can sit up and engage more with his food this will be a great highchair with lots of easy to use functions. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for Alfie's awkwardness.

From Miss S Bedford In Hampshire (09 March 2008)
  Q. What is the highest position for the seat as a highchair or just a chair. we have a breakfast bar and I'm wondering whether it will be high enough.

  A. Thanks for your enquiry. The best solution for you would be to go for the Blooom Loft highchair which is to be launched in the UK in June 2008. This has been specifically designed for use at breakfast bars. Currently the highest table height of the Fresco is 76 cm whereas the Loft has a table height of 91cm. I hope this helps.

From Shari Barber-Bailey In Cheshire (03 November 2008)
  Q. What is the Snug?

  A. Thanks for your enquiry. The Bloom Snug is an insert which provides extra comfort and support for newborns up to 1 year old and is suitable for the Bloom Fresco, Loft and Coco Lounger.

From Clare Suddes In Co Durham (07 March 2009)
  Q. I think I read somewhere that the chair has wheels - how easy is it to move around? Does the chair swing or rock? Can you rock it side to side or backwards and forwards? Thanks!

  A. The chair does contain wheels underneath the base. The chair is very easy to maneuver, just face the chair forwards and with a slight lift the chair you can slide it around the kitchen. Although the chair does come in three different positions, cradle, semi-reclined and upright, it does not rock.

From mandi In surbiton (08 June 2009)
  Q. hi. Is it safe for a newborn baby to sit in the chair for 4 or 5 hours plus a day? I read they should lie flat alot at first to help aid their spinal development and this chair isnt totally flat, what do you think? Thanks alot. Mandi

  A. Hi Mandi,

Thanks for your enquiry. The Bloom fresco is tested thoroughly and passed all the safety requirements. It is safe to use by following the user guides.

Please kindly note that the cradle of fresco isn’t intended to replace a cot. It is more like a baby carrier. You can place the baby in the cradle snug after feeding while you are in the living room or kitchen so that you can keep an eye of. It is always important that parents never leave the baby unattended in the cradle. We strongly recommend you to put your baby in the cot for sleeping.

The fresco isn’t completely horizontal when reclined to the cradle position. Yet, the backrest of the chair is completely flat and stable which has no issues of affecting baby’s spinal development.

I will also recommend you using the snug at the cradle mode. The 100% natural bamboo material of the snug is anti-bacterial and anti-allergenic. The very breathable material provides a soft and comfortable padding for your baby.

I hope we can provide the necessary information to you. Should you have any enquiries, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

With best wishes,

The Boohoobaby Team
