Designed to help you get comfortable for a good nights sleep the Dream Genii Pregnancy Pillow will elevate those countless sleepless nights later on in pregnancy.

During Pregnancy Support

The Dream Genii is different from other similar products as it offers gentle support for your tummy, back and knees without taking up most of the bed, allowing you and your partner to get a good nights rest.

Its unique shape encourages you to sleep on your left side, in the recovery position, which, if used regularly from the second trimester, can encourage baby into the optimum position for birth.

The gentle back support discourages rolling onto your back during the night, which can restrict blood flow to both mother and baby and the leg support is designed to take the pressure off your tummy and back by gently lifting your leg whilst you sleep.

Post Birth Support

Once baby has arrived, Dream Genii can be used as a feeding support pillow. The leg support fits comfortably into the small of your back, whilst the back and tummy supports fold over to form cradle shape.

How to use

To achieve the best night's sleep from your dreamgenii pregnancy support pillow:

  • Lay the dreamgenii pregnancy pillow flat on to your mattress with the leg support cushion to the right
  • Lie on your left side on the dreamgenii pillow with the quilted pad under your middle and the back support cushion fitted snugly into the small of your back. Ensure it is firmly in place.
  • Pull the bump support cushion inwards gently towards and against your bump
  • Pass the leg support through your knees to support your upper leg
  • The dreamgenii pregnancy support pillow has been designed to allow you to turn over without having to turn the whole pillow over. Simply turn over onto your right within the pillow (leaving the quilted pad in place) and pass the leg support through the back of your knees to achieve the same level of support. Only minor adjustments are required to the left and right cushions to achieve a comfortable continuation of your night's sleep.
To use the dreamgenii pillow as a feeding support
  • Position the leg support comfortably into the small of your back leaving the back and bump support cushions in front of you
  • Fold the back support cushion around and under the bump support cushion to achieve a cradle shape in which to place your baby
  • Place another pillow under your arm if you require extra support whilst feeding

The Dream Genii has 4 elements that enable its design features to work effectively.

  • Supports the small of the back when sleeper is on her left hand side (and supports 'bump' when lying on her right hand side)
  • Helps prevent sleeper rolling onto her back

Fantastic pillow! Great support. Much improved night's sleep. I particularly like the small pillow piece that supports my back. It prevents me from rolling over onto my back during the night - thereby keeping me in the 'best position for baby'. Highly recommend it.

It is a good product. I'm still getting used to having to climb on top of it to get into bed, but thats okay. I find I don't like to use the leg rest the whole night, so I sometimes push that part aside which is easy to do, and also easy to get back into position again. I most like the pillow bit on either side of my upper body, I do fiind it helps to keep me off my back which I can be prone to in my sleep. Also does not intrude on my partners side, so thats a plus. They say it can be used when nursing as a support, I don't really see it being good for that, but I will soon find out. Will likely buy the highly recommended "Breast Friend" for that job!

My wife finds the pillow comfy and it was a good buy, especially the deal on boohoobaby.co.uk with the free extra pillowcase. The pillow does mainly keep her on her left-hand side and support the bump as it is supposed to but she doesn't manage to stay there all night and she does turn over and when that happens the pillow doesn't go with her entirely straightforwardly - but still definitely recommended.
