The Wishbone Apple provides 3 bikes in one and great value for money as it will last from a young 1 year old to 5 years of age.
It starts out with three wheels for safe scooting and helps very little ones even get their balance for walking. When your child gets a little bigger, it converts to a two-wheel running bike. And, finally, you can flip the frame to make it tall enough for children up to five years old.
On the premise that young children get frustrated with tricycles because they don't have the strength and co-ordination to pedal. Wishbone ditched the pedals, and instead kids brake with their feet and focus on learning to steer and balance.
Unlike any other running balance bike, the Wishbone bike evolves with a child''s different stages of development.
It starts at age 1 as a trike, converts to a running bike as the child grows, and by four to five years old, the ''wishbone'' frame is flipped, making the Wishbone Bike one of the largest running bikes on the market.
With its environmentally sustainable design, and innovative 3-bikes-in-1 feature, the Wishbone bike designed in New Zealand really is the ultimate pre-bike.
Recommended age range - 1 to 5 years. Any Wishbone Bike rider must be capable of walking. Even if the rider is older than 1 year of age, if the rider cannot walk then he or she should not use this product.
Every Wishbone Bike has 60% post-consumer recycled plastic wheels, is made from sustainably managed woods and is bonded and finished with eco-friendly products. The Bike box and all printed material inside is recycled and printed with non-toxic inks.
