This is the best thing that I've seen for a long time,; so much easier than feeding a small child into a snowsuit and light as well as warm. I love the fact that you can use it in the car seat as well.

works ok but the velcro is SOOOOO velcroey, it is difficult to undo and impossible without waking the baby with the noise. Otherwise it is what i was looking for, an easy wrap that works with the car seat and he can sleep in if necessary either in his seat or on beds when we are visiting friends. He gets too hot easily so it is nice that his arms can be outside the wrap.

I love it, it's great for wrapping baby up when out and about and if it's especially cold - which it has been - I don't have to keep unwrapping her I can loosen the bug in a rug and she stay warm. Everyone I bump in to comment on it

The best invention for outdoor baby clothing yet! Looks useless when you first get it but as soon as you start using it you see the benefits. Easy to get on, easy to take off whilst baby asleep, or undo when in a hot shopping centre, and definitely snug as a bug in a rug!!!

Our new born slept inside this at night from day one. It kept her warm and snug and avoided the kicking off the blanket scenario(we folded the hood under her head). If she was sick we could wash and dry the fleece in a few hours,and always in time for bed.

This has been a godsend in this changeable weather - means I can wrap my boy up, put him in the car seat and then just take the cover off if it gets warmer.   A. Hi Jilly,

Thanks for your enquiry. The bug in a rug fleece is for sleeping in while out and about primarily, and can be used for sleeping while supervised. It is not ideal for sleeping at night as the fleece might be too warm depending on the temperature of the bedroom. The Cotton Bug in a Rug however can be used for sleeping, even when not supervised, night and day.

  Q. hi, baby due on 1st April - which would be more suitable for out and about - the original or summer bug in a rug?
 
  A. Hi Samah,

We would recommend the Original fleece wrap as the weather can be cool, and unpredictable so this wrap can be used on a warm day as the evening cools or as a blanket all day long, open and then closed again depending how the weather changes. We would think the summer wrap is be better suited for July and August weather. We hope this helps.

  Q. Can you tell me what this fleece is made of? Is it 100% cotton, or is it mixed fibres? Thank you!

Thanks for your enquiry. The original wrap is made from polar fleece, and not designed to be next to baby's skin. Its best suited for cooler days when cotton layers are worn underneath. The 100% cotton wrap is designed for summer and indoors when the wrap is directly against baby's skin.
