Everything in naturalmat mattresses are 100% natural and where possible organic. Mattresses are made by hand in Devon using the finest natural and organic raw materials.
Breathable
Babies are very temperature sensitive and find it hard to regulate their own body heat. Unlike synthetics (that are commonly found in other baby mattresses)natural fibres are inherently breathable and allow a constant circulation of air, keeping the mattress well ventilated. This prevents your baby from overheating, allows it to control its temperature and keeps it cool and comfortable.
100% Renewable
All naturalmat raw materials come from 100% renewable and sustainable sources that comply with Fair Trade policies. Unlike synthetic foam mattresses every element of naturalmat mattresses are
biodegradable and compostable, so it can go from cot bed to flower bed!
Non-allergenic and anti-dust mite
More babies are suffering from allergies and asthma. Naturalmat Oeko Tex certified lambswool has been treated with essential oils of lavender, lemon and eucalyptus to give certified allergy protection. The natural latex is 100% hypoallergenic and offers complete protection from house dust mites.
Machine Washable
Every mattress has a removable pure cotton outer cover that can be machine washed at 60C
(dust mites are killed at 57C) which offers further allergy protection, and keeps the mattress
healthy and clean.
Naturally Fire Retardant
British Fire Regulations are the strictest in the world and most manufacturers comply with the rules by using chemical fire retardants. These are usually sprayed onto covers and often
included in filling materials. Naturalmat continue to lead the way in complying with British Fire
Regulations without using any chemicals additives

Eco Packaging
All packaging used for Naturalmat mattresses is 100% biodegradable
and 100% recyclable. Our carton is made from a mixture of recycled and renewable paper
resources from FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) managed forests and we are moving to a corn starch inner liner. Ensuring we all sleep better at night.
