HELPFUL HINTS FOR SIZING YOUR BELLY BANDIT

Due to the variations in size and shape of women's bodies, we realize it may be difficult to size yourself for a Belly Bandit. Don't fret, here are some tips we have found to be helpful. There is no exact science that fits all women. If you are purchasing a Belly Bandit early on in your pregnancy best rule of thumb is to go up 1 to 2 band sizes from your pre-pregnancy size.

In the eighth month many women will be the same size as they will be post delivery. Simply measure the circumference of your waist starting at your belly button. Choose the corresponding band for your size.

Just prior to delivery simply subtract 3 to 5 inches from your waist measurement. Select the corresponding band for that size.

If you purchase your Belly Bandit after you give birth, simply choose the corresponding band for your waist size. We've had many customers who measure between band sizes. Our advice is either to purchase both the larger and the smaller sized Belly Bandits or only buy the larger one.

Don't worry, you'll get into the smaller size, but remember it is a compression garment so if purchased too small, it may be too tight to wear. Correct sizing is essential for comfort and product effectiveness. Buying a Belly Bandit that is too large will not wear well under clothing and may affect end results. The Belly Bandit is designed with five inches of adjustability to stay tight as you shrink.

I had an emergency caesarean and although I couldn't wear the Belly Bandit immediately afterwards I do think that it has reduced my 'bump'. It is 3 weeks since baby arrived and I am almost back in my jeans. The big plus factor of the Belly Bandit is that it almost forces you to maintain good posture but is comfortable at the same time.

My pre-pregnancy size was 8, a far cry from the size 12 jeans i find myself buying, having had my baby 9 weeks ago. Desperate, I thought I'd try the belly bandit, not convinced it would actually make a difference but unbelievably over the past 10 days I find I am fastening it even tighter around my belly!!! To the extent that the size 12 jeans I bought on the 26th June are going to be returned and exchanged for a size 10 tomorrow!!! This is no lie- I wish I'd known about this earlier as I am sure if worn immediately after the birth the results are probably quicker- I am feeling so much more confident and feel like I'll be back to my normal size before my friends wedding at the end of August! highly recommended. A modern, convenient version of the Indian 'tying a scarf tightly around your waist' that my mum told me about which I disregarded as cumbersome and awkward, Love it!

Great I wish I had brought it when I had my first child, this is my forth child and I started to wear the bandit two days after having my baby, my stomach is much flatter than before I was pregnant. I am very happy.

Great product - I'd wish I'd bought it sooner! My only small comment would be that as I'm am petite, the length of the band is on the long side and can dig into me when I've been wearing it for some time

  A. Thanks for your enquiry. We don’t think that it is too late at all as this gives you great support and especially after a C Section as you will still obviously be tender for a while more. The Belly Bandit not only gives you great support by pulling everything in around the tummy muscle but also around the back and just gives you great support.

  Q. Hi, I had my first baby 9 weeks ago , is it too late for me to wear it for it to have any affect? Which size will be the best for me, my belly measured 87 cm.

The belly bandit is measured on pre pregnancy size, ie small, medium, large Its not too late to use the belly bandit as it will give your abdomen and spine support and to “push everything back into place” The Bamboo is perfect if you are having a natural or C section as its anti bacterial and has a soft material The natural is for a natural birth but isn’t as soft in material The sizing goes as follows. PRE PREGNANCY what size would you have been? SIZE 8-12 (Small) SIZE 12-14(Medium) SIZE 16-18(Large) SIZE 18+ (XL) The Belly Bandit gives full support to mum after the birth to ensure correct posture which aids with breast feeding and backpain. The Bandit needs to be washed in a cold wash.
